You’ve Done the Work.

Let Consumers See What’s Behind It.

Consumers increasingly pay attention to words like organic, cold-pressed, locally sourced, grass-fed, and plant-derived.

But the work behind those words isn't always visible on the front of a label.

TSB Verified™ gives brands a way to independently review eligible claims and, once verified and licensed, connect consumers to a public record showing exactly which claims were reviewed.

Your claims already tell part of the story. Verification can help show what’s behind them.

From Claim to Clarity.

Here’s How It Works

  1. 01 / Submit

    Show Us What You Claim.

Submit one product, its eligible claims, and the documentation that supports them.

  2. 02 / Verify

We Look at What’s Behind It.

The Skincare Bureau independently reviews each eligible claim against published standards and supporting documentation.

  3. 03 / Make It Visible

    Let Consumers Look Closer.

Once every eligible claim is supported or removed and the product is licensed, use the TSB Verified™ mark to connect consumers to its Public Verification Record.

01 / Getting StartedWhat happens when I request information?

We’ll email you the program overview and what to prepare for review. You can explore it at your own pace and reply with questions. Requesting information does not begin an application or commit you to a paid review.

02 / ScopeWhat does TSB Verified™ review?

The Skincare Bureau® independently reviews eligible ingredient and marketing claims against published standards and the documentation provided to support them.

The review considers specific claims. It is not a product safety seal or endorsement.

Explore Our Standards
03 / EligibilityCan small brands or products with one claim apply?

Yes. The same published standards apply regardless of brand size, and a product can apply with one eligible claim.

Every eligible claim used to market a submitted product must be reviewed. Licensing can proceed only when every eligible claim is supported or removed from consumer-facing materials.

04 / FeesWhat does verification cost?

The review fee is $799 per product and formulation and covers every eligible claim. If the product qualifies, the separate annual license is $499 per verified product.

The review fee is nonrefundable once review begins and does not guarantee a verified outcome.

05 / DocumentationDo I need my documents ready now?

No documents are needed to request information. If you decide to apply, the documentation required depends on your claims and may include supplier specifications, sourcing records, processing documentation, or current third-party certifications.

06 / ConfidentialityWill my supplier records be made public?

No. The Public Verification Record identifies the verified claims and their approved scope without publishing confidential supporting documentation.
